About Jackie
Career & Life Coach, Author, Podcaster, and Business Owner
I am a serial entrepreneur, four-time author, and successful podcaster. With over thirty-five years of leading and coaching people, and over 250 interviews as a podcaster, I enjoy exploring how everyday people figure out their purpose and pursue it. My superpower is curiosity which makes me an avid learner. I have embraced my failures and learned to rewrite the narratives acknowledging the blessings in the lessons.
I didn’t realize it then, but my style of leadership has always been to build a bridge from your present situation to your ideal future, in a nutshell, coaching.
It wasn’t until I had challenging times in my life that I sought out help. I wasn’t looking for therapy, but I was looking for someone to help me get through the fog and create clarity. I needed someone to be encouraging, optimistic, and nudge me forward.
That is when I stumbled upon Life Coaching, and it just clicked. I knew this was what I was meant to be doing all along. Getting certified was a natural transition for me, and I’ve got to say, it’s been a fulfilling journey.
I too deal with fear and self-doubt, but one thing I am not afraid of is to put ideas into action, even when I have no idea how.
In addition to coaching, I am also the founder of BDOPE Water and the creator of the national holiday, Sit with a Stranger Day, every September 16th.
I am also a wife, mother of three humans and two rescue dogs.

If I could spend a day with any entrepreneur living or from the past and ask them 3 questions, my choices would be Berry Gordy, Coco Chanel, and Walt Disney. I would ask:
How did you know you chose the right business venture early on?
What did you tell yourself to keep going when you hit roadblocks?
What is your definition of failure?
